Who are we?
ACT is a Community Interest Company (CIC) with the commitment to support young people to engage, learn and make positive transitions that will inspire them to achieve their full potentials.
We are now recruiting volunteers for our community mentoring project, where we offer you the training and support to become an ACT Mentor.
As part of the vision, we are seeking community mentors that can help to support and inspire the next generation.
We are seeking mentors to help us offer young people the space to build a positive relationship with their mentors, enabling them to receive guidance, motivation, and emotional support.
We envisage our mentors helping young people with:
- Decision making
- Setting goals
- Exploring careers
- Developing contacts
- Identifying the resources they need

We Are Hiring
Project Coordinator Recruitment Pack
Organisation: ACT CIC
- Location: The Legacy Centre of Excellence (with Hybrid / Remote working)
- Contract: 12 months, freelance/flexible contract
- Hours: 18 hours per week (flexible across 2–3 days)
- Rate: £16–£18/hour (depending on experience)
- Closing Date: Friday 3rd October 2025
- Interviews: 8th – 10th October 2025
- Start Date: Immediate, no later than 15th October 2025
